Another cat at risk?

Dawn spoke about another close-shave with the Bedok serial cat-killer:

Vegancat and another volunteer told me that the Bedok cat killer was seen taking another cat up into his flat. I've been told that I must have misunderstood earlier and that the kitten ran out before the police arrived. This is really quite worrying but the volunteers are all keeping a close watch on him. The volunteer took the cat home.

Update: highlighted text replaced this sentence on Dawn's entry: "Fortunately the volunteer saw him and called the police and the kitten was rescued." Thanks to vegancatsg for the alert.

Getting worrisome indeed. Already I can see one big question mark: the kitten escaped, but what about charges, records, warnings?

What can you and I, mere tax-paying minions in straitlaced Singapore do? Here's one thing: WRITE.

Write to the PM, the AG, the police and whoever you think oughta know and have the decision-making capacity.

If you need ammo and stuff, this entry may provide a starting point. Please don't belittle your ability to speak up - just write from your heart. Action speak louder than words, and now's not the time to keep mum.

If you're worried about repercussions, look at me, I've written any number of letters, mostly pointed, to the press, and to various officious entities too, and one of the communications, very recent, in fact, was really blunt. I'm still alive and even got start this blog!
