Breeders could be abandoning dogs (STREATS, 20040723)

This may be anecdotal, but the circumstances surrounding the find just raises my hackles.

"Several years ago, I found six shih tuz puppies along pasir ris farmway. Some of them had fallen into the drains. All had skin diseases and corneal scarring. Along this road are many dog-breeding kennels, some of which could only be labelled dog mills because of the overcrowding and the many dogs with visible skin diseases. Were these shih tzu's discarded as they no longer had any commercial value?"
Please, even if you MUST buy your dog, do your due diligence and CHECK the source of your intended purchase. Otherwise, you're just supporting unscrupulous businesspeople. If you don't see what's the big deal, here's the poser: You want a dog because you love them, right? Then why would you support, knowingly, businesses that abuse and exploits them, like nobody's business? It is everybody's business to stop pet mills. - Go to Go to: Casefile: Cruel Singapore.
