So what's your trip about this adoption thing?

Well, we don't exactly get our tripping from doing adoption, or as we prefer to call it, rehoming - look at our lot, of the current six, Booties, Frankie, Orli, Timmy have all been seeking for a year or more now! It is a difficult thing to do, and not feel like you've failed them at times, but we can only try. We don't profit either, since we're not selling cats, but looking for permanent homes for them. Why then? It's just that when you do TNRM and care for homeless aka community cats, you'd come across some that just don't do well on the streets for some reasons. Since they can't be street bums anymore, it goes to reason that they are going to need homes then. So that's when they become homeseekers, thus the adoption/rehoming. We can't foster these ex-bums ourselves, so their care is outsourced. Adoption notices are posted on the CWS Adoption Bulletin Board, and other forums/discussion boards. Posters are made and put up at places like vet clinics, pet supply shops and mailed out to friends and acquaintances. So far, only the CWS board has been effective, for which we are thankful. - Check out the purrsNswipes Adoption Guidebook - Meet our homeseekers
