Homeseeker: Timmy

TIMMY is a 3-5 yrs old male. When he appeared at the neighbourhood HDB carpark, he was already neutered with a tipped ear. Small and friendly, he is often bullied by people and bigger cats. But nothing dampens his enthusiasm, and he just keeps trying to make friends. He is very affectionate towards people, and recognises voices of people he knows, and responds when called. Timmy loves being fussed over, with oodles of head rubs. He also enjoys lap-sitting. Sterilised, litter-box trained, vaccinated, suitable for single/multi-cat families. If you or anyone you know is interested to give this member 0f friends-of-the-world-unite a home, please write to sephycat at gmail dot com. His Story In late 2004, we rescued Booties from culling. With her was a new cat we've not met before. He is Timmy, a small friendly guy who had newly made his home in Booties' carpark in the Street Gangs' Area 2. Strangely, moving in with him at the same time were Bessie, Betty, Sammie, and Tommy. A group of malay boys happened by one day as y was feeding Timmy and Betty, together with the regulars - Booties, and Blueeyes. They told her that the newbies belonged to a malay lady who lived nearby, and that her house had a orange door. She had nearly 20 cats, and she's been dumping some of them in nearby areas where there were people caring for resident cats. Y flipped of course, but they did not tell her the exact address of this irresponsible woman. So we were left cleaning up after yet another horribly irresponsible human. Timmy did not do well as he was the omega, and was often bullied. In late Dec 2004, he disappeared, probably he couldn't take the hazing and bullying anymore. We thought that was the last we'd see of him. However, early 2005, a familar shape rushed out of the bushes in Area 1. It was Timmy, and he needed medical attention - his flanks were almost furless! Of course, he was moved into our outsourced foster-care. For a time, it seemed like Timmy was aspiring to become the new member of the Barenaked Ladies. However, he did manage to come to his senses and regained his modesty. The only thing is, he's still rather omega-ish, and from time to time, he'd lose his modesty again. So we hope Timmy can find a home where he won't be shoved about. If you or someone you know is able to give him a home where he's safe from the hazards of being the omega, please write to sephycat at gmail dot com. Read about other Home Seekers. c
