Horrific find in dog farm in Pasir Ris (ST, 20041217)

Magic words: Breeding farm. Deja vu (here, here, here) anyone?

EIGHTY per cent of their fur gone, their skin and private parts crawling with maggots, they whimpered and scavenged on the carcass of their companion. The breeder, however, said the four dogs, already in bad shape, had been found in a drain by a customer, who had given them to him to be looked after.
Follow-up letters: - Reduce unwanted pets by restricting sales; Does AVA do regular checks on pet breeders? (ST, 20041223) Update on Abused Shih Tzus by MettaCats - Go to Casefile: Cruel Singapore. Hack-care Singapore. - Go to Don't Breed Or Buy While Shelter Animals Die
